I have a '71 Chevelle 2dr and am needing to replace the rear control arms on it. Will control arms from a 4 dr Chevelle fit, what years other than '71 will fit? Presume '70-'72, other GM bodies, Le Mans, GTO, ?? Somewhat new to the Chevelle world as this is my first Chevelle owned.

If I'm not mistaken,, lower control arms from a 68-72 will fit. However some cars came with oval bushings while others used round, but that may have been on the earlier years. The best way to find out if they will fit is to measure and compare.I don't think there is any difference in length from a 2 Dr. to a 4 Dr.,on the control arms.
Why do you need to replace the ones you have?

Was needing to replace the control arms or at least the pass. side lower if memory serves as the pass. side dual exhasut had rubbed on it quite hard and rubbed a good portion of the control arm completly gone. Found this after having the exhaust replaced. Not sure if the Chevelle uses the round or oval bushings, have not looked close enough I guess.

ALL rear lower control arms for ALL 64-72 GM A-bodies are interchangeable. The oval bushings only apply to the FRONT lower control arms.

Here's a source if you can buy from or learn more about control arms. Glenn refinished all of my arms front and rear.
