out of sheer couriosity, i was wondering what early hi po factory cars came with, convertor wise. i remember readign how the yenko '70 lt1 nova had a 7000 rpm motor, 4.10's, and g-70-15 tires... but did they put high stall converters from the factory? as a dealer installed option? or?

I think the factory highest stall was 2100 for a hi-po application.

I'm running a 327 with a stock converter, flashes to 2400. I was told it's from an old 427 Corvette.
