Wondering if anyone's had any experience with the aftermarket 69 grilles? Also, it seems like two are offered, one with mounting holes and one without. What the difference? I've got a 69 El Camino.

No actual experience with aftermarket grilles, but the ones without the center mounting holes are for the 300 Deluxe Chevelles, with the mounting holes are for Malibu and SS which have the center chrome molding and emblems.

I had an '80 Scirocco, sure do miss it.

I have used the repop grille with the center molding holes..fit was quite good.

I have to agree with Al, this is one thing the repops got right. The 69 grill actually fits quite well.

It fits great, all I had to do was paint the center bar silver as it came black.

I emailed the vendor and got the following response "One includes holes for a strip of molding in the center of the grille"

The one I put on my '69 was a repro. Looks every bit as good as an original and fit perfectly.
