I have a MSD Pointless Distributor on my 71 Heavy Chevy and I have trying to find out why the Tach is not working. I have narrowed it down to the Coil. All of the wires are hooked, Great ground and power. The needle will bounce real quick when the ignition is turned over so I know I'm getting good power, and with the meter I also saw I have good power.

I heard something about a Tach adapter for these situations...

Does anyone know about this for MSD Pointless Distributors?

where do you have your tach hooked-up to?

it should be to the negative side of the coil

Its hooked up right for the coil (Green wire to the - on the coil). I have to wait for my username to be sent for their forum.
