I have taken off my power steering and installed a manual steering 525 saginaw box. It bolted right up but at the connection from the pitman arm to the cross link was loose. The pitman arm hole was loose (big) over the cross link end. In a search on this site I saw that the two pitmans were different sizes but how is the best way to remedy this? Be gental, this is my first post. By the way this site has helped me tons on the build up of my car. Getting ready for tnt for this Friday night and now I need to correct this first.

The only way to remedy it is with the correct size pitman arm for your car.

Do a Google search on "Chevelle pitman arm" and you will find some parts houses for circle track racers that have the manual steering pitman arm for a good price.
