replaced the front tires and wheels with 3.5 wheels and radials. total weight savings 20lbs. added a air pan. replaced the mallory comp 9000 with a msd and locked out timing. off the trailer run a 7.11 with a 1.59. tuning from there we run a 7.01 with a 1.54 :eek: (where did that come from). i also tried cooling the fuel in my 5 gallon can with ice. this is by far the worst weather the car has run in. the air pan was worth .10 MPH. we tried removing the power valve and jetting up 6 sizes. no gains BUT im out of jet sizes. ive got 2 more upgrades to make next trip and am confident theres a 6.99 in the heat. Kjett if you read this this tach is giving me a fit! i cant figure it out. have only been able to use the tach function. no recordings or play backs yet. to complicated for me. Dave
