Are the parking light bezels on the front of a 71 El Camino/Chevelle suppose to be painted in between the lamps, or are they suppose to be black or silver? (The bottom version......)

They are supposed to be body colored in between. Actually they originally came with a tape in there that was body colored (I believe it's still available thru GM). Most people just paint it (that's how I did mine).

You can paint them to get an exact match, kinda tough to prep though. You can also get your local body supply shop to order you some pinstriping that color (or real close to it), at that width.
