How much end play should a BBC roller cam from the button to the cover? I am almost done with my 468 I am waiting on ups to bring my Victor JR and push rods. graemlins/clonk.gif

I shoot for around .006-.008 on my small blocks.

John, I run .002 with a roller button on my SBC S/G motor and .005 on the BB going in my Biskit. I've run as tight as a "light 0" and as much as .006 and have never had problems.
Make sure you have a rigid timing cover or brace your stock one as there's more load applied there than you may realize and the stock cover will flex.
