i would say yes, but it all depends on how "careful" you want to be while driving, when i get in my my headers are two finger widths from the ground, and of course the oil pan is above that, my headers always scrap, but i have learned "how to drive" if you will and that includes going another way to avoid speed bumps and bad roads...but just remember that there will always be that unexpected road condition that you have to be on your feet for...good luck and show us some before and after pictures!!!!!!

i think you'll be alright as long as your springs/shocks are pretty stiff to accommodate for the lack of room for rebound, i plan on doing a 2'' drop as well on my 67

what year is it?

my 69 is slammed, and i have scraped the headers once because i was going way too fast over a bump, however, the springs were cut by the previous owner so its not a very legit drop, with stock shocks the front is pretty squishy

If you don't like the drop spindles I might be interested in taking them off your hands! :D

First, 3" is VERY low, and comes with some pretty big sacrifices.

Second, I don't recommend drop spindles... there's been a lot of topics regarding them not being the best option.
