I need to replace my booster (currently a smaller 70's Corvette style booster & master) on my 67 SS. I would like to use an 11". Staock valve covers but without the slant.

It looks to me from photos of cars with the 11" that there isn't a clearance issue at all. Someone at Ground Pp said it will hit the w/w motor but I don't see any different motors listed for power/non power brakes applications.

Can anyone with a 67 and an 11" booster let me know if there are any fitment issues?

I have a 68 El Camino with a 396 and the 11 inch power booster from the factory. I have tall valve covers because of the roller rockers I have and I can get them on and off. It's a tight fit but they do work. If you have stock height valve covers you should have no clearance problems.

Thanks but the 68 firewall is different from 67. I don't know if they have the exact same layout, do they?

Can anyone post clearance photos of thier 11" booster with big block & stock valve covers for 67 please?

Cut an 11" circle out of a piece of cardboard, that should tell you for sure.

My 67 with its original 396 and 11" booster had no problem with clearance on valve covers but they did slant. With the new 454 and tall covers an 11" booster would not clear.

Mine wont fit tall valve covers (with SBC frame mounts) and the factory booster. Its very close though. You shouldn't have a problem with low valve covers, can you provide the height of the valve covers, i could compare to my tall ones... also what frame mounts do you have? sbc or bbc? apparently the bbc ones are slightly lower and people say they can just fit the tall valve covers...
