i heard that their 2 kinds of bbc dimple rods are they both just as good whats the deal and wich are the ones too have

I assure you that there are in fact 3/8" bolt dimple rods from Chevy.
This is what you got 396/375 and 427/425 427/435 and the early L-88 427/430
The later L-88s and ZR-1s IIRC have 7/16 bolt dimple rods.
the 454 LS-6 has dimple rods...not sure if the production car ones have 3/8 or 7/16" but leaning toward 7/16" but think not the Boron bolts of the LS-7.
The over the counter LS-7 had 7/16 dimple rods
By the early mid 70s all the crate hi perf BBC engines had 7/16"
Again, goin' off my memory

It is a project car.:D

It was nice 2 weeks ago, 80 everyday.
last week windy everyday, enough I couldn't BBQ, the wind was blowing out my flame.:(
