I just got my engine running and when it idles there is no tocking. When the rpm is increased a ticking is heard. I haven't dealt with this before.
I'm thinking lifters. Does it sound right?

Always check your exhaust manifold at head for signs of a leak such as soot. It may not be as visable if it is leaking form the bottom of the exhaust port.

Thanks, I checked that first. I think we have a push rod a little loose. we are going down tonight and see if that is it.
