TWC Jun 30th, 04, 6:16 PM I'm thinking of purchasing MSD 8.5 MM wires w/ the plug boots that you can bend to fit individual needs. Does the bending of the plug boots work as advertized? If they don't stay in the postion they are bent and eventually straighten back out they won't work in my application. Anyone have experience????? Thanks BillsCamino Jun 30th, 04, 6:40 PM Depends... If you're needing a tight bend, no the wires can't hold a sharp radius. If it's a gradual curve, the wires will hold position. But, try and bend them too sharp and the flex joint inside the wires will break. :( wanarace Jul 1st, 04, 12:41 AM I have heard only good things about them. But like everything else I buy, I am the exception. I have 2 wires right now that I suspect are broken internally at the joint. On another wire I had the boot tear where the HEI retainer holds the boot. Needless to say right now I have my old Accel spiral cores on there. Steve | ||
