Hi does anyone use Summit SUM-G9010 1-3/4" primary headers on their 1967 chevelle?? did they fit well?? they are $80 at summit, so the price is right!
i'm doing a bbc swap into my 67 and now need to pick up some headers since the ones i have are out of a nova and dont fit!
thanks,

I have Summit headers on my 68.The install was very easy and they fit very well. That's why I bought them, they come with bolts and gaskets and collectors for $80,sweet deal.

it says they fit 64-73 Chevelles, but i've heard too many stories about big block headers that don't fit a 66 or 67 to take their word for it.
i do know that Hooker Comps fit nice, but they are a bit more than the house brand headers.
maybe if you ask them nice enough, they will tell you who actually makes the headers, and maybe give them a call.

Thanks Derrick, thats why i'm asking on here, hoping someone used them on a 67 and would know how well they fit... i'd like to get an order through to summit in the next few days for a few parts to put this swap together... i bought the motor running/rebuilt from a nova in Hanska, he threw in the headers but they dont fit, his brackets dont fit either with the different steering box locations... so my shopping list grows!

I'd like to know the answer also. I'll be breaking in my new motor soon (hopefully) and sure don't want to ruin an expensive set of headers (I have a SB now, so can't use current exhaust manifolds
