well got the velle running again.....after the rebuild on the 350........ list of what we did.....

350 60 over
KB120 pistons about 9.7 or 10 to 1 comp
441 heads cut to about 67cc
decked the block 20 over
it has a comp XE268H-10 cam
torker 2 intake
holly 600

yada yada yada

man does this thing scream....... only thing is I have a low end bog pretty badly when say ur at a complete stop and floor it or try to do a burn out its like it is taking a **** literaly then it picks up and gets gone........any suggestions on how to fix it.........carb adj and timing adjustments but tell me what to do first i think the timing is advanced 4 degrees........

What distributor are you using? I'm sure you need more initial advance but make sure the total isn't more than 38. Try 12 degrees initial as a starting point. Setting up your spark curve is a trial and error thing that will take some time. Make sure your primary throttle blades aren't open to far and check your accelerator pump for any slack.

Definately needs more than 4* initial, like badbob said. Are you running an aftermarket torque convertor, or the stocker? That cam really needs a 2400-2500 rpm convertor to do its best.

By the way, I am trying to remember exactly where Valiant is. I graduated from Clayton high school...class of '90. I love that area down there, and would move back in a heartbeat if I could find a job there.

im running a stocker convertor im gonna get a 2400 or 2600 this winter and have that as a winter project........ill play with the timing curves and stuff..... the dist is a elec HEI delco.......

clayton is up by antlers and valliant is east of antlers and rattan......
