When breaking in a new cam (only using the outer valve springs with dampners),how soon can you install the inner valve springs? I have about two hours on the motor - 402 BB.

That should be plenty of running time. Once you install the inner springs, get the car out and drive it, don't let it sit around and idle, thats what kills new cams.

Bill ,so far I drove the car about 40 miles and thanks for the advice. I'm running a Comp nostalgic cam.
