Anyone know a good place to find a reasonable priced steering coupler? Thanks - Duff

Just found & bought an import version of the coupler form OPGI; $39... That sure beats the $150+ prices I've been seeing. Just in case anyone else is looking.....

You might want to check your imported flex coupling. Make sure that the flat in the steering gear flange is machined in the correct place. Here is a picture of one that will result in your steering wheel being upside down.

Unfortunately, the supply of NOS is dwindling and at some point, the Chinese (foreign manufactured) parts will be the only source. Also, the foreign made parts do not have electrical continuity between adjacent quadrants of the flex coupling. This could result in your horn not working when you install the new part. The Saginaw parts use a rubber disc with a metal screen molded into the face. The allows electrical current to flow from one quadrant to the adjacent quadrant.

Just run a wire to connect the two pieces and your horn will still work.

I cleaned up, painted and refurbished my coupler with a new rubber disc and made my own ground wire. Cost me $10. Go to NAPA.
