I didn't notice that the motor mounts were broken. Until I went through the gears in a hardway, that is. Don't be foolish, Be careful! :sad:

If the underside of the hood looks that nice, I can see why he'd be upset by shoving the engine into it. Yet another reason for solid mounts. :D

Look at the bright side,if that is all that got damaged then you didnt do too bad.It could have been worse.

It's the top/painted side of the hood (see spear). I hear that there are professionals that can fix the dents without breaking the paint. I'm a little sceptical though. :rolleyes:

We made a slight adjustment to the hood on the 66 last year when we started taking it to the track. The carburetor stud made a beautiful dimple right in the middle of the hood. That was a 600.00 mistake. Good luck on having it repaired without a repaint.

We use the paintless dent removal guys at our lot, if you research around and get a pro they can get the dents out for you but ask around first.They are considerably less,usually charge by the panel if there is 1 dent or 20, usually about 50.00 per panel.
