i was wanting to know if any of you know where i can buy the metal trim/tray that goes inside the top of the door where the window rolls up. the pieces im looking for go inside where the window rubber goes. it is under the drip rail and screws on then the weatherstrip goes in it. i have not seen them in any of the parts catalogs i have. sorry i dont know the exact name of the pieces. any help would be great. thanks Joe

Salvage yard. There are some pieces that are not reproduced for these cars and that is one of them. Roof rail weatherstrip retainer.

Threre are actually three pieces per side for a 2-dr HT, a straight piece that goes in front of the vent, a small corner piece that goes above the vent, and a long curved piece that goes above the door window and continues over and behind the quarter window. The corner piece joins the other two. I just installed mine two weeks ago.

All of the GM A body hardtop cars from 66 to 67 have these and they will fit your car too.

i seen a set on ebay for a '66/'67 GTO would those happen to fit?? mine were not that bad but figured i could get new ones so i throwed mine away. :mad:
