dubby Apr 17th, 08, 4:04 PM My neighbor is building a new garage for his toys and one of the workers is telling him about some old cars in his son in laws family barn. 64 GTO conv. says it has 2 - 4 bbl. but not sure, Malibu and a Lemans. That is all he knows so we are hoping to go this weekend and check them out. Hope to take some pic's to post. Kinda feels like we are going on a treasure hunt. I have not talked to him only my neighbor has. Of course I have all of the Chevelle books that I will take for the so called Malibu. I also got GTO books from a friend. I will be ready to buy. There is a Royal BobCat upgrade available but no carb's. I assume this guy saw the 3 duces and thought it was 2 -4 bbl. The owner of the cars is a pack rat and never wants to sell anything. He is close to 70. This guy wants to take it slow and not piss the owner off. So I just have to wait. I got the cars clarified - 64 GTO conv. w/ 2 4 bbl.(he saw the 2 4bbl on the car)-1 Lemans from lat 60's to early 70's ang a 66 GTO Tri Power. All the cars have less than 35,000 miles acording to him. Hey I want to go as bad as him just to see them but he won't give up the location and I don't blame him. | ||
