any size for tires and backspacing for 17 inch torq thrust,any pics.I painted my car and it needs shiny rims,if i can figure out how to download pic i'll put em on.72 chevelle malibu,copper/bronze met.

If you measure carefully and roll the rear lips, you can fit a 9.5" front with 275/40 and 11" rear with 315/35.

Looking for the same info and PICS for my 72 (Not highjacking the thread) :D... Sizes that require a little lip massaging and sizes that don't would be awesome...

well i had 18" wheels on my 72 and the fronts where a 18x8 4.5 backspacing and the back was 18x9 5.5 backspacing. I sold those and now i have 20x8.5 front with 4.375 backspacing and 20x10 rear with 5.875 backspacing and no rubing at all. Tire is 245-35-20 and 275-35-20 I hope this helps. Also I have a set of Boyd Coddington Magnetos 17x8 with tires for sale if you are interested.
