so I found a steel on an accel fuel injection kit, but it's for rectangle ports. will this fit my oval ports?

Yes ,it'll fit ,and it was an old S/S trick to run the rect port manifold on ovals.
BUT ,check where the injectors will spray. Might not be too good if the spray hits the head and not the port.
You can check with an intake gasket that's close to your port size.

Absolutely. Just not the other way around. The mismatch of the ports may cause a little HP loss but it will work. I have rectangle port tunnel ram on a 55 chevy with ovals, runs great.

Just remember to use the rectangle port gaskets. I know, sounds like a stupid reminder, but I've seen people use the oval gaskets and won't run. Massive vacuum leaks.
