Hey guys. I have a 71 where the horn works very weakly for a few seconds then stops. Any suggestions?

Most of them used the PN 279&280. If the voltage drops near zero when the horn should be playing, the supply from the steering wheel is current limited, or the horn is poorly grounded. undee70ss Apr 15th, 08, 2:48 AM the supply from the steering wheel is current limited, or the horn is poorly grounded. Supply comes from the horn relay, when steering wheel button is pushed, it supplys ground to relay, turning relay on. | ||
