I just bought a new grill and received it yesterday. The quality was horrible. Little gold sticker on the back said Made In Taiwan. This was purchased from a company with "good stuff" all over their literature. GM (with the blue GM logo) Restoration Parts - the feeling is original, GM (with the blue GM logo) Parts - the feeling is genuine, the #1 source for Chevrolet (yes, with the bowtie) restoration parts. Are ALLLLLL the restoration parts we buy from ANY supplier made in the same place? If I buy a grill (or any part for that matter) from Year One, OPG, Ground Up, etc, etc are they really all manufactured by the same company? And I don't mean all parts, I mean are all grills made by this Taiwan company and maybe all clutch pedal linkages made by another comapny, etc. I am assuming this is true. I am contemplating returning this and buying from another supplier, but if they really originate from one source then its a waste of my money to ship back and reorder and pay more shipping all for the same crappy part in the end. Please, if anybody knows if there really are different choices out there, who do we buy from. This is very frustrating and expensive. Thanks for listening to my rant.
