Okay, I redid my console and may or may not use the horse shoe shifter. Reason? It is for a powerglide so I may have to purchase a new detent plate to use it in my th350. Therefore, what aftermarket shifter would work in the stock console?

Just in case you didn't know...the detent plates from GM were the same for the PG and TH transmissions, so the one you already have now will work just fine. However, if you want to buy one that has the "extra" stop for 2nd gear you can get one from Shiftworks.
