I don't want to order a new original style speedo for my 66'. I'm looking for an aftermarket speedo that I can attach to my steering column using my original speedo cable. I want the speedo to match my tach and sit side-by-side.

I seen lots of "in dash" units in Jegs and Summit, but no extrenal units.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

The right dierection is getting an original speedometer.
That is going to look weird, and will decrease the value of the car if you decide to sell it.
people don't like oddball things done to these cars.
But it is your car and you do what ever you want.
