Hey guys,

Im assembiling my door panels and Im trying to figure out how the rear panels mount to the body of the car. I dissasembled the car years ago and I dont really have any A-bodys to referance how its supposed to look. Does anyone have pics of the u-jam area? Im trying to figure out if the u-jam rubber goes under the metal part of the rear door panels (not really door panels as its a 2 door) or does it go over it? It seems to have a gap the way it is leading me to believe the rubber is sandwiched... but I have a feeling thats not right. Any input would be highly appreciated.

Btw, just for referance its a 1969 2-door hardtop.

thanks

The rear panels have a vinyl flap that gets glued to the jam flange and then the channel trim gets tapped on over it. The U shaped rubber trim piece goes in the back side of the jam and is secured with two trim screws from the front to seal up the window's front lower edge.

Does anyone have a picture of this area on a 69 chevelle (or something similar)
