i have a .60 over light weight trw dome piston that im trying to indentify. the part# is usually stamped on top of the piston. but there is no numbers on the top. i did find one number underneath the piston which read 735-99. a freind of mine told me it looks like a 13.1 piston. but trw didnt make a 13.1 piston for a 454. they are also bushed for floating pins. thanks for your help

Rip,
The 735-99 is only a forging number and does not mean a thing as far as identifying the piston. The best thing to do would be to post a picture, or take it to a performance oriented machine shop and have them look at it. If there is no number on the top, someone might have smoothed the top of the top. The other possibility is that it is not a TRW piston. Several companies, Manley for one, used to use the TRW forgings and machine thier own pistons from them. I had a set of thier lightweight Pro series pistons in my Camaro and they were made from TRW forgings.
If you have a block that the piston fits in, you can also put it in the bore with a set of rings and actually cc the bore with the piston down a certain amount and figure out the cc of the dome.
Hope this helps,
