i have the nu relic power window kit for my 66 chevelle.
it didnt come with any instructions.
i am wondering how to take out the old crank wheel and then put the new electric ones in.
if anyone had online instructions or any knowledge on how to do this it would be very helpful.
thank you.

I just finished installing my Nu Relics kit yesterday on my 65. If it's the same as your 66, then you'll need to remove the glass/sash and inner cams. On the door, you'll need to loosen the vent window channel's adjustment to slip the regulator between it and the inner door panel. On the quarter, you'll need to remove all the parts to get the regulator in place. The final adjustments took FOREVER to get dialed in (maybe I'm too picky).

the interior on my car is stripped. i just pupt in the back ones. All i had to do was loosen up the old mounts and pull it out. but the new electric windows kept falling out of the slot. so i had to drill some other holes a couple cm away and now it doesnt fall out.
but yes i am on the final adjustments getting dialed in and they are a pain haha.
but the front ones look like they are going to be more tough.
and your talking about the vent windows on the front, loosten them?
i know the kits are different they come in 64-65 and 66-67, but i believe installing them should be simmilar.
thank you very much for this information.
by the way your car is sweet!

Don't know if it'd help but there's a great article written at buickperformance.com about installing stock power windows that is excellent. Might help with your aftermarket purchase.

Yes, I was talking about the vent windows. You need to slip the regulator between the inner door panel and the guide channel on the vent window. On the quarter windows, there are two stops to prevent the rollers from coming out of the cams, at least that's on the 65. The difficult part for me was getting the door window and the quarter window to line up to each other and both of them to the roof weather strip when the door closes and when the windows roll up. All that with no binding and just enough freeplay on the cams to get a smooth up and down action.

got power windows and power vents from them. the windows were no problem to put in the power vents we had to modif the door so the vent motor would bolt up. all of it going into a 70 el camino. the power window motors bolted in place of the old crank windows.
