Hi everyone, I haven't posted for a while, my car has been a little low on the priority list the past two years, but now summer is on the way and I want to get it out of the garage. One thing I must do is to change out oil pan while engine is installed. Last year I rebuilt engine and installed new oil pan (Offshore PoC:mad:). After running engine for break in, I took it out for a quick around the block leak check, bolt check, etc. Came back and found that the steering rod tie end grease nipples struck both sides of the oil pan. I guess the bottom of the pan is a littl bit wider than the original. Now it leaks as well (installed one piece Felpro). I want to remove this PoC and put in GM pan. Is this possible without removing the entire engine. I don't have necessary tools for that. No engine lift, stand etc. Only two ton jack, stands and of course the trusty ramps. I tried searching the site but come up with a so many other threads that I though a direct post of the problem may get a quick response. Thanks.
