It's at 22K and will be 30K by the end of the auction. There is not alot of supply on these cars.

The car is a rust bucket, check the thread below this one. Whoever buys this car better be good with a torch and welder. It looks decent in the pictures but it has issues.

That's not the point. They all have issues.
It's a rare (I'll presume correct) 360 hp 4 speed real SS car and I'll bet the buyer is a body man. Repro body and floor panels are relatively cheap. These cars are in short supply based on the huge number 66 SS clones. Who do you think is buying all those repro SS hoods. Also, half the SS cars have NOM motors. If someone pays 30K and invests another 40K to restore they are ok as that's what this kind of car is worth.

Like I said earlier, I hope the new owner is good with a torch and welder. He's going to have to be able to do a nut bolt correct frame off on this car as it needs a trunk, floor, braces and whatever else can't be seen in the listing for 40K. Good luck with that. Then you have the issue of " It appears to be a matching number motor" to consider. What about the drive train is it original also? What about correct date coded parts, how many is it missing? That's another boat load of money if it's missing a lot of correct parts. In my opinion and everyone has one, to spend 30K on this car to start already puts you in a bad position. The listing itself is very vague with no thought given to specific important parts or date codes of them. That in itself, makes me leary. Just my .02 on this one.

mello.. you got it bad :D

Now that you have looked at several 66 SSs I bet you are better at guessing what the final bid will be. Plenty more cars to come. The right car for you will turn up. Keep looking.

What about the sellers ID do you not understand......1baddgoat. Keep looking. You seem to focusing on the illusion of original 1st and quality 2nd. I would reverse my thinking.
