Sent them off yesterday.
on the form it asks hw much Ill owe., I have no freakin clue, probably not much if any being as things tanked last year.

Cant afford an accountant right now to get them done(tough times) so I included a letter stating so along with a check for $100 and sent it certified.Hopefully in a month or two I can get them done.

Whats the drawback on this other than some interest?

Kinda worried as I got audited last yr (which helped wipe me out) but figure it will probably happen again anyway

Self employed, no employess if that makes any difference

Time to get Quicken, sounds like. I ran my own company with an average of 15-20 employees back in the 90's, and did everything myself with Quicken. Payroll, payroll taxes, excise taxes, etc., are all automatically accounted when you enter income or payroll. It'll work for you too, way easier. Set up customer accounts, supplier accounts, etc., and it tracks your money well. As far as taxes go, you've gotta try to figure out a rough figure, because there's no extension for money due, only penalties. Get the Quicken this weekend, get it set up with all your accounts, and get everything input into it, and you'll be done before you know it.
