I have an idea for a setup for new rims to swap out before drag racing. My dilemma is I wanted a Cragar wheel that's 15x8 with a 4.0" backspace. Now everyone has been recommending 4.5" BS. Will I be in a bad spot if I get the 4.0" BS?

My next problem is Mickey Thompson recommends a 9" wheel for the 28x10x15 slick I want. So can I use this 8" wheel on the 10" slick or should I get a 28x9x15 slick? Thanks......

With the 4.0 backspacing its going to be tight with a 10" slick, 4.5 backspacing would be better. I would use 15X8 Corvette rallies because they use easy lugnuts to use if you are changiing the tires at the track. Also use the 28X9-15 or if you want a tire to drive back and forth to the track use either the Mickey Thompson ET Street or Hoosier Quick Time Pro 28/11.50-15.
