I've never seen them offered in any of the part catalogs. These are probably your best bets:

A benevolent TCer who sees your thread, has pulled his old non-working original radio and replaced it with one of the aftermarket jobs and is willing to send you his old radio hardware. You might try posting a WTB ad.
One of the many places that specialize in rebuilding/restoring original radios like S&M Electro-Tech (877-780-2861). There's others that have been mentioned here if you do a "radio" search. You can also find listings in Hemmings.
Some of the parts houses that deals in used as well as new parts. I know that The Parts Place in Elburn, Illinois deals in used stuff and has a rack full of used radios. Don't know if they'll just sell nuts, but it's worth a phone call. They have a web site. It's all of this little mickey mouse stuff that can make a guy crazy. Need a new hood, engine, dashboard, carburetor? No problem! A couple a unique nuts for a radio, good luck!

Try this guy on E-bay. He goes by " thomasp2019 " he's selling them for a few bucks, he lists under the 70 Chevelle category.

try a electric surply store..

most toggle switches use the same size shaft and the nut is the same size.. and as a bonus.. you get a washer

I went through this several years ago with my radio, did lots of searching. It's a special thread size and you will not find it at hardware or electrical stores.BTDT. Found mine at a local junkyard, like he said earlier maybe someone here who has a few will toss them in the mail to ya.If I had a couple I would.Drove me crazy for a couple of weeks.
