hi everyone i am pretty new to this site im in the final stages of resto on a 72 heavy chevy i've had great luck finding every thing i need except the rubber mat that came w the heavys from the factory not the floor mats but the mat that was installed instead of carpet ive tried all the after market places that i know of [year one etc.] anyone have any ideas

I don't think these are reproduced. You might have to try to find one on ebay. A lot of times you can get a good one out of an old station wagon. Don't be too concerned about the color as they can be easily dyed.

Molded vinyl floor coverings are available (they were a few years ago anyway) from ACC (Auto Custom Carpet). They aren't the same exact texture as originals.
