Found a build sheet in my back seat but unfortunately the seat is not the original for my car. Check out the last parthttp://kuvablogi.com/nayta/iso/img1027238.jpg

More commonly called a line tag on Oshawa built cars. Are you sure it's not for that car? Does the style/model or sequence match? Could have been shipped to Finland for a service member who then shipped it back when his tour was over. In any event, it's a neat piece to have.

I don't think cars to service members that were sold by US dealers and shipped to US bases overseas are considered exports. Only those GM shipped to dealers outside of the USA to be sold in those countries would be an export.

That line tag typical of Oshawa Assembly, GM of Canada.

EXLD stands for EXPORT LEFT HAND DRIVE

A Corvair site lists A48 as 'Seat Belt Delete'; first time I've seen the code on a Chevelle tag...dunno.

Seat belt delete would actually make sence since the car has no seat belts. The car has been redone several times so i cant be a 100% sure. But in 1967 seatbelts were not required around here.

Sounds like a definate possibility to me. I have data on a 66 Malibu SS 6-cyl sport coupe exported to GM Nordic sold in Sweden with some other unique features such as required round reflector lights under the rear bumper and, naturally, the speedometer is in kilometers per hour.

Mine has the Km/h speedo too, wanna pic? In Sweden they required those silly reflectors in the rear, seen them on alot of swedish cars.
