I am redoing a '72 SS that has been media blasted, the car when I got it had a restoration about 15 years ago and I am not sure if it was correct but the cowl was and where the ID tag is (air inlets) from "A" pillar to "A" pillar and inbetween where all painted the same as the firewall, a low luster black, is this correct as one friend thought they might have been body color but all indications show a black since the hood actually covers this area I am unsure. Thanks a bunch Matt

that area should be as is, A low gloss almost flat black
