1968Chevelle300Deluxe Apr 9th, 08, 8:41 PM This one is nice and for the price cant beat it because of gas prices going up you can still have a chevelle and drive it at an affortable cost wish i had the money i would get it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-Chevelle-1968-Chevy-Malibu-in-Excellent-Showroom-Condition_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6164QQihZ016Q QitemZ260227557091QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
There is one like it here in MT. Little old lady owned 68 sedan 307 3sp on the tree. blue, nice car for 4000.00.
Chris R Apr 9th, 08, 10:03 PM Sweet car but I dont think I would personally pay 10k for it.
Chevelle_Nut Apr 9th, 08, 10:13 PM I had a 68 Concourse 4 door once in that color with a 327 Powerglide. It is sweet to see a non post car. Still gotta love those 2 extra doors :D
DaleM Apr 10th, 08, 6:54 AM Not only is even the starting bid at 10K way too much, there were 1949 6-cyl 4-dr sport sedans built in 68, not 500 as claimed. Maybe $2500 to $3000 tops.
depley Apr 10th, 08, 7:46 AM if it is aas nice as the pictures appear then I would say it is on par with the car Bill in our club bought, 1970 4 door hardtop and he paid $5000 for it. That would be about the price this should bring tops. Problem with people pricing stuff is they always have grandiose ideas of making big bucks, then they sit there for months on end not selling. I can show you a hundred chevelles that have been sitting for at least 6 months for that exact reason. Being a 6 cyl with no a/c well, $5000 might be even a bit high.
SS427Rick Apr 10th, 08, 10:19 AM There is a nice 4-door h/t in my area that I have seen at a few show and shines. Triple black, 350, a/c, very straight car. Last year he was asking $5000. If I see it this year I'll make him an offer. Nice car to drive to work in the summer.
fast67vellen2o Apr 10th, 08, 10:34 AM If i was looking for a 68 4 door hardtop in that color I would pay 10K, only because its what i wanted. Cool having tilt column though
Chevelle_Nut Apr 10th, 08, 11:42 AM As with anything the true value of an object is what someone would be willing to pay for it.
glennslanaker Apr 11th, 08, 12:23 AM only wanting $13.5K huh? people never cease to amaze me. only in classic cars it seems. you never see someone asking $700k for their house that's only worth $300k.
i agree with you guys, $5k MAX. if it's a V8, loaded with options, maybe $7k.
