This morning I received a phone call from Doug Herbert informing me that I am one of the three
finalists drawn at yesterdays AC Delco Nationals.
They are flying me and my wife to the NHRA finals
in Pomona, Ca. for the final drawing on Nov 9th.

I know I couldn't afford to run it on nitro but
if I detuned it and ran it on alcohol it might
stay together for awhile.

I'm so excited for you Emil! I have an autographed piston sitting on my desk from his motor, I dont know what I'd do if I won the whole car. I'd try to fit it in my living room I think graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Just don't wear a Clay Millican shirt, lol. Doug is a good guy, a pal of mine was the engine guy for his car some years ago, and tired of being on the road and took a job with DEI. I met Doug then and thought he was a decent person.
