hi, does anybody know where to buy the offset upper control arm cross shafts? i saw them in one of the catalogs some time ago but i can't find them now. thanks.

napa sells spicer units for 40 something dollars....you can look them up on their online catalog.....

You can install offset cross shafts; but there's a reasonable chance that the "real" problem is wiped ball joints and/or wiped control arm bushings.

Since you have to put new upper bushings in during the installation of the cross shafts--if the bushings are wiped you probably don't need the shafts. It'd be worth your time to check the lower bushings, too.

More often than not off-set shafts are required as a result of a sagging crossmember. Worn bushings will have very little chance of causing such a drastic affect that it cannot be shimmed out.

the reason i need offset shafts is because i installed real tall springs that i bought from j c whitney. i know the low look is in, but i'm an old guy and i always liked the jacked up look. i just barely need offsets, but i can't get it quite right without them. thanks for the help.
