I have been running a holley black pump for about 4-5 years on my nitrous system. It is noisy like all Holley blue/red/black pumps. Mine leaks fuel alittle from the base, I guess this is common for them. I would look in to the mallory 140. I am looking in to getting a magnaflow for both system and run one bigger line.

I have a black pump. It works great. Been in the car for 2 years now with out any issues. It delivers enough fuel for both of my DP's at WOT through the quarter. I am still using the stock hard line. The wide band 02 I use had shown some lean issues toward the top of the quarter. I figured out that it was the pick up tube being uncovered. I would buy another. Monte

I've had a Holley Black Pump on my Chevelle for the 4 years I've owned it. No problems. First supplied a 454 spinning about 6200 rpms. Now it seems to be doing a good job of supplying a 540 at 7000 rpms. I havent had it to the track yet, but have had it on the freeway doing about a buck forty. Didnt seem to be going lean! Like the previous post said, it is a little noisy, but the only time I hear it is when I am first starting the car. Hopefully it wont quit now that I been bragging about it!!

Scott, if you have not done so already, then look into the Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump. Had mine for only two years but it's worked flawlessly. It's probably the last one you'll ever need b/c it's rated up to 1300hp for naturally aspirated applications.
