I am becoming aquanted with my 72 Malibu I just bought and noticed a 10 bolt differential, which I have no experience with, well my question is will it handle the motor I'm putting in it? It being a slightly modified 350, Edelbrock performer manifold and matching cam, 600 cfm carb, TRW 10:1 pistons and that's it nothing outrageous. I believe the build sheet said it's a 2:73 ratio and I only plan on driving it no racing just an occassional burn out to help support my local tire dealer and my adrenal addiction.

No racing, and no slicks or stickies...the 10 bolt should be fine.
