I'm hoping you guys can help. I bought a set of used Southside Lift Bars for my 69 Chevelle. I've read about them and have seen a couple cars using them at the track, so I thought I'd try em. The car currently 60's in the 1.50-1.58 range. I'm running PSCA 10.60 index this season and need to reduce some of the "Monkey motion" to improve the cars reaction times (A new transbrake will hopefully help also). The bars are in excellent condition, but no instructions were included with them. Maybe someone knows of a link, or has had some experience with installation? It looks really simple, but adjustment info and some install tips would be great. Thanks in advance for any help.

i put them on my 67 with a moser 12 bolt. the brackets that bolt to the exsiting housing had to have some metal ground out to fit snug up against the housing tubes on the moser piece. other than that its pretty simple. i ended taking the brackets back off as my car hooked better with them in the factory location. Just an FYI: Most people seem to find the lift style bars over plant the tires with a trans brake and running the ET you are. If you do use em... let us know hoe they do for ya. What is your current setup?
Have you tried giving SSM a shout on the instructions... if not I know you can find installs on Mustangs and G bodies easily in google.

When I installed them in my 70 the instuctions said to set them with a 3-4 degree pinion angle. Mine was at 0-1 with stock uppers. I ground on them to get the desired angle, but it took so much grinding that I gave up and bought adjustable uppers to set the angle. They seemed to work fine.

Thanks for the replies! I guess SSM is out of business or something because I could not contact them by phone or website. Hawkeye, my email address has changed. I need to update my profile. The new adress is:
