i bought some new rims for my car and i'm having a hard time finding some tires i'm happy with. i have (2) 15x8 and (2) 15x10 aluminum wheels and would like to put some bf goodrich t/a radials on them ( i like the look of those tires) but i can't find and P295/50-SR15 rear tires in stock anywhere. if anyone is running this rim size combo, please send me some pics with the size & brand of tires you are running. i've been told that a P255/60-SR15 will work on the rear. anyone running these? i'm open to sugestions.

275's would be a better choice than 255's IMO.

I have Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's, 295/50x15's. I "heard" here that someone was told they were discontinued, but I can't verify that. I think maybe the makers are only doing short runs every once in a while, and they run out - BFG's for example, have been out since middle of last year. Not sure if they've run them yet.

You can still get 295's, but you'll have to get a different brand, like Cooper, Dunlop?, Mickey Thompson, or similar.

Dave download the retailers list from BFG, you can pick a distance from your location and start calling around, I picked up a pair of 295/50/15 2 weeks ago they also had another size that basically impossible to find 275/50/15, and found 1 more tire sitting in STL.

There are pics of this size in my sig. They are some cheap Grand Am radial gt's. I'm not looking for longevity, I run a spool on the street and I'm going to shred them in a hurry anyway. Got them at OK Tire in Fargo, ND.
