Does anyone know for sure which black to use for the different areas on a '69 malibu convertible dash w/ black interior? I've got the dash pad and w/s out and will be repainting from the cowl to the bottom of the dash. I'm thinking that Eastwood's Underhood black would be the correct sheen for all but I'm not sure.
A previous owner repainted the dash and used what looks to be black laquer at the glove box area, then buffed it to a high shine. I like the look, but don't think it's original.
Thanks for the help,
Rich

Search the forums on this site. I saw a response a while back to a question similar to this. Seems like one of the quys said the top (part above the pad) should be 0 degrees black, and the bottom 60 degrees. Also a lot of discussion on color.

Check me on this though, I'm going from memory.

Thanks, 68. The posts I found were from mid-June of '99 and answered my question.
