I bought some of the bench to bucket brakets from OPGI and I have some questions about them. Has anyone here every used them? Do you bolt them to the floor board or weld them? Any pictures?

Did you get the 4-piece set???
I have pics and dimensions that I can send, if you pm me with an e-mail addy.
There is also a sticky in the interior section that has this stuff as well.

my '66 was originally a bench seat car, and I converted over to factory buckets recently using the npd brackets. the outer(door) side of the seat bolted to the original mount holes where the bench bolted to the floor, and I bolted the npd brackets to the inner seat frame brackets and then welded them to the floor. they work fine.

I have the two piece set. I figured the orginal bench seat holes will get reused for the bucket seat brackets the holes are slightly off I will have to widen the bucket brackets.

On the parts I got from OPGI I guess I will weld them in. Sounds best to bolt the seats to the inner brackets and get them looking straight then tach them down. Now that I think about it if I get the out rails to bolt using the factory holes that should line up the inner side to.

Bolting the brackets down would certainly required some reinforcement on the floor pan.

Thanks guys sorry for the over sight on the sticky.
