I was wondering if you guys could recommend some front brakes to me. See, I have the spindles already, and only need rotors, calipers, and booster assembly. What's the best place to get them at a "somewhat" cheap price? I just want stock parts, so I don't need 4 piston calipers and gas slotted rotors. Is a wrecking yard a good option? If so, what vehicles work best?

if you have the spindles and brackets they all you need is the service parts that are available at any part store. get new rotors, inner and outer wheel bearings and seals, calipers, pads, master cylinder and booster all in one stop.
if you don't have the caliper mounting brackets, but have a set of drum brake hubs, then i'd suggest upgrading to 84 or newer Corvette or 98 and newer Camaro rotors and calipers and make brackets for it. i know you said you don't want or need anything fancy- but good brakes are kind of important, and if you need everything anyways, then why not upgrade? you will have a few hundred into the stock parts, and about $500 into the vette or Camaro stuff.
the 12" C4 vette brakes will fit behind some 15" wheels, and any 16" wheel. the guy i traded my Nova to got a set of stock mid 70's 15" plain steel wheels to clear the C4 brakes i put on it with a set of 5/16" wheel spacers, so getting wheels to fit isn't really a problem.
