After looking in my trunk today I found that there is some surface rust under the 1/4 panel lip that follows to all the way back between the 1/4 and the wheel well. I cant get back there with a wire wheel or grinder. how do I attend to this rust? Keep in mind I drive this car every day and tearing it apart to pieces is out of the question.
Thanks For The Help

The only way I know is the oldfashioned hard way - by hand with sandpaper folded to suit.
Do a little or alot at a time. Then coat it with a real rust preventive coating like the red stuff Eastwood sells - GEEEEE - I can't remember the name of it.With that stuff, you don't need to get it all, you can cover rust.
Found it on the Eastwood site; Corroless

That would be the only way to do it in tight quarters. Scotchbrite works pretty good too. Good luck.

If you can stand the mess, maybe sand blasting could do the job. But what a mess it would be.

The stuff Eastwood Co. sells is called Corroless. I've used it with much success.

I was thinking about Extend. I have rust on the floor of the trunk and I was going to whack it with that stuff first. I've only used it once, on the hood of a ( gulp) Spectrum. It worked as advertised and the rotted out hood repair lasted for over one year until I sold the car. It has a chem reaction with the rust and neutralizes it. Then you prime and shoot.
