Jaiver,

The cam you want, the 288/296H10, is available from Lunati as their part number 302A8LUN. If you want a solid roller, the smallest one I have is the Lunati 502A1LUN, 278/290 at .020, 244/255 at .050, .630/.630 valve lift, and 112 LSA. This is a very good and reliable cam, and gives years of street driving. The 290 profile will go more than 2000 miles in 24 hours---It has finished decently in 2 Camaros at the 24 Hours of LeMans. A 10:1 CR 468 should make about 560-575 BHP at 6200 with this cam, and work power brakes.
Let me know if these are interest....

rcatala,

I have 5 different solid roller cams with the .630" valve lift, and all are equally reliable. What stall converter do you have, or is your car a 4-speed? If you have a 3000 SS, the biggest cam I recommend for a 433(427+030) is the 285/295R10, which is 250/260 at .050. It should make about 550 to 575 BHP in a 10:1 433, depending on how those oval ports flow.
A lightened car with a higher SS can use a bigger cam, and a tighter LSA. Needless to say, a good fuel system, at least a Carter 172-gph mech pump and 1.2" fuel line, is a neccessity.
The 5 different cams are:
278/285R 244/250
278/290R 244/255
285/295R 250/260
290/300R 255/264 10:1 468=610 BHP at 6400
295/305R 260/270 10:1 572=750 BHP at 6200

The 2 with BHP ratings are from various dyno tests.....

rcatala,

Any Holley/Lunati dealer can take the order, The correct part number is 502A1LUN for the cam. I have used a spring identical to Lunati's 73367 for 20 years with this cam, I wouldn't use any other. It is 1.55" OD, 210 lbs at 1.950". Throw them away in 3 or 4 years if they go below 170 lbs. You will defintely need a Bronze distributor gear with this cam, unless you can wait for a month or so until we get the 'EverWear'-geared cam cores in. They take stock distributor gears. The cost increase is less than a bronze gear.
If you have trouble ordering, call us. Any salesman can take your order. Right now I am deep in a heavy-duty project involving LS-1 cams.
I'm having to enter 100s of 8-digit numbers into a computer, and I can't break concentration.
If this isn't enough, let me know. I'll be back tomorrow night....
