Could someone measure their idler arm center to center distance for me. The one that came with the car measures 5- 7/8" (suppose to be correct). It also has a 1/2" drop from one end to the other end.
I want to verify this arm is correct before I order one. BTW this one has "metric" threads.
If his idler arm is not for a 69, anyone have any idea what car/year it may have come off? thanks much

Are you talking center hole to center hole, on the bolts that attach to the frame??
That is 2" & 3/8th of an inch
Not quite sure what you mean about the 1/2 inch drop end to end ????

Thanks for your reply. Not refering to the chasis mounting bracket/holes. Just the two holes in the idler arm ,at the pivot point and at the centerlink end. The drop would be the curve the arm has in as it slopes down to connect to the centerlink.
